Baltimore Crisis Response Inc. is now CarePoint Response
Published 6/1/26
On Friday, May 29th, Baltimore Crisis Response, Inc. formally announced their rebrand as CarePoint Response at a ribbon cutting ceremony held at their main campus facility in Baltimore City, marking an important milestone in the organization’s growth and continued commitment to timely, compassionate behavioral health support for individuals and families across Baltimore and Maryland.
With remarks given by partners such as Baltimore City Sheriff Sam Cogen and board President Christian Jeong, CarePoint Response reflected on the organization’s growth beyond Baltimore and across Maryland.
CarePoint Response continues to provide timely, compassionate behavioral health services, emotional support, crisis intervention, residential treatment, case management, and community-based care.
Our rebrand was shaped by feedback from community members and stakeholders who emphasized the value of trusted providers who meet people where they are and walk alongside them with empathy and respect. The organization’s role remains rooted in dignity, recovery, and the belief that no one should have to face a crisis alone.
Strong crisis response services help people feel safe, heard, and connected to care in their hardest moments. Timely support can prevent deeper harm, reduce unnecessary emergency room visits and law enforcement involvement, and connect people to the right resources at the right time.
CarePoint Response also recognizes that effective care depends on strong partnerships. Collaboration among healthcare, government partners, behavioral health providers, public safety, schools, community organizations, and families creates a stronger safety net and makes care easier to access. As CarePoint Response enters this next chapter, the organization remains committed to expanding access to compassionate care, strengthening coordinated responses, and supporting healthier, safer, and more resilient communities across Baltimore and Maryland.
