911 Diversion

Your safety matters, and so does the right response.

Conducted in partnership with Baltimore City agencies and CarePoint Response, the 911 Diversion program works to divert non-emergency calls to behavioral health resources, improving response times for emergency services and providing more effective assistance for individuals in behavioral health crisis situations.

911 Diversion helps to ensure emergency responders remain available for critical situations, and individuals in behavioral health crises get the help they need.

Mobile response teams can respond anywhere in Baltimore City, providing critical support for individuals in need of behavioral health support such as de-escalation and linkage to community resources.
