How Support Works

No wrong door. No wrong way to get help.

You don’t need to know exactly what kind of help you need before you reach out. Whether you start with 988, our team, or a provider or community partner, you’ll always get the same compassionate support. No matter where you are, we’ll connect you to the best help you need.

Because Hope Starts with Help.

In compliance with SAMHSA’s “no-wrong-door” policy.

Start with 988

The 988 Helpline acts as an all-in-one access point for judgement-free support and a helping hand.

By contacting 988, you can expect a trained counselor to provide free, safe, confidential support, and share resources you may find helpful for issues related to: emotional support, depression and anxiety, substance use support, sexual identity, financial hardship, referrals, and mobile response.

If you are interested in accessing CarePoint Response’s services, ask about us during your call.

When you contact our main line, you can access all of the services we offer under CarePoint Response. We offer the same support as the 988 Helpline and can accept referrals for our residential units too.

If we’re not the right place for you— don’t worry. We’ll direct you to a partner that can help you with what you need.

Call our main line today at 410.433.5255.

Start with us.

Start with another provider.

We work with providers, agencies, and community organizations so people are not left trying to navigate everything alone. This includes hospitals, outpatient providers, housing programs, legal aid, schools, and other community supports.

When you enter the CarePoint Response network, you also access a broader network of strong community partnerships and coordinated services.
