Residential Services

Short-term residential services for individuals receiving Medicare, Medicaid, are uninsured, or are veterans in Baltimore City, consisting of two programs: the Crisis Residential Unit (CRU) and the Substance Use Disorder (SUD) & Detox Unit.


Saving Lives for Over 30 Years.

Our residential treatment consists of daily support from psychiatrists, caseworkers, nurse practitioners, nurses, counselors, and residential specialists, with follow-ups carried out for 30 days post-discharge. CarePoint follows ASAM 3.7 criteria, and can treat individuals with co-occurring substance use and mental health needs. Stays include meals, smoke breaks, job support, art-based activities, and more.

Our residential facility is located in West Baltimore at our main campus.

Crisis Residential Unit (CRU)

Assisting individuals facing mental health crises and are in need of support and stabilization. Includes daily individual and group counseling, as well as case management to ensure appropriate post-care support and transitions back into the community.

Substance Use Disorder (SUD) and Detox Unit

ASAM Level 3.7 and Detox programs assisting individuals facing all substance use disorders, including medical detox for benzodiazepines, opiates, and alcohol, as well as stimulant and marijuana misuse. Includes daily individual and group counseling, as well as care coordination.

  • Occupancy: 24

  • Average Stay: 7-21 Days
