Located in Baltimore City, the Substance Use Urgent Care Center is a 35-bed facility that provides immediate, short-term support for adults 18+ experiencing a substance-related concern, including those under the influence of drugs or alcohol or following a recent overdose. The center offers a safe and accessible supportive environment for people to recover from the symptoms of acute intoxication as an alternative to emergency departments. Services include:

  • Up to 23-hour observation 

  • Medical screening and monitoring 

  • Buprenorphine induction 

  • Peer support and counseling 

  • Case management and care coordination 

  • Referrals to ongoing treatment and community resources 

  • Access to meals, showers, laundry services, transportation assistance, and follow-up support after discharge
