CarePoint Response Recognized Best Residential Addiction Treatment Centers

CarePoint Response is proud to announce its inclusion Newsweek's America's Best Residential Addiction Treatment Centers 2026 for Maryland. Featured alongside other behavioral health partners pioneering high-quality, compassionate care, this recognition reflects the organization's longstanding commitment to ensure the health and well-being of individuals across Maryland.

From May to June 2026, Newsweek and Statista invited thousands of medical professionals (therapists, counselors, medical doctors) and managers/administrators working in addiction treatment facilities to complete an online survey.

Published annually in partnership with Statista, the ranking identifies leading residential addiction treatment centers based on a comprehensive evaluation of thousands of professional recommendations, credentials and accreditations, care services, and patient experience data (Newsweek, 2026). The 2026 list recognizes facilities that demonstrate excellence in supporting individuals on their path to recovery.

"We’re honored to be recognized by Newsweek among Maryland's top residential addiction treatment providers," said CEO Johnathan Davis. "This distinction reflects the dedication of our clinical teams, peer recovery specialists, and residential staff who work tirelessly every day to help individuals navigate substance use challenges and build lasting foundations for recovery."

Throughout the past 30 years, CarePoint Response has grown from a local call center to a mid-sized organization with over 24 million in funding that is growing rapidly. Through an evidence-based approach, the organization provides treatment and recovery services designed to meet individuals where they are, offering support, hope, and pathways to long-term wellness along the way.

Newsweek noted that residential addiction treatment centers play a critical role in providing around-the-clock care for individuals experiencing substance use disorders, trauma, and co-occurring mental health conditions. The ranking was developed to help patients and families identify trusted treatment providers and make informed decisions about recovery care.

The recognition comes at a pivotal moment for the organization as it continues its transition from Baltimore Crisis Response to CarePoint Response, reflecting an expanded vision of comprehensive behavioral health, crisis intervention, and recovery support services throughout the region.
